Class Times/What to Expect
FALL registration is currently open for our beginner classes starting September 16th. Class times are as follows:
WEDNESDAY CLASSES – Start Sept. 16th
Beginner Ages 6+ ~ $50/Month
5:00pm – 5:30pm
Beginner Ages 4 to 5 ~ $50/Month
5:30pm – 6:00pm
Advanced Beginners
6:05pm – 7:05pm
ADULTS Ages 18+ ~ $70/Month
7:10pm – 8:10pm
SATURDAY CLASSES – Start Sept. 19th
Advanced Beginners
10am – 11am
Beginner Ages 6+ ~ $50/Month
11am – 11:30am

Beginner Class Description: Dancers will learn the fundamentals and basic footwork of Irish Dance while also learning choreography & timing of the music for the core dances ~ Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, Hornpipe, & Treble Jig. We will also cover team dances also known as Ceili dances. All dancers learn soft shoe first and then learn hard shoe once they’ve developed enough strength and understanding of soft shoe. Dancers in this class do have the opportunity to perform and compete once they have an efficient understanding of their steps, if that is something you desire for your child. Competition levels start at beginner and can be a great opportunity for your child to grow confidence, make friends, and have fun!
Class Pricing/What to Wear
Dancers should wear comfortable athletic clothes, socks, sneakers or jazz shoes, and hair should be pulled back. Once you’re registered and committed to classes, we can help you order beginner soft shoes for your dancer.
*All dancers start in soft shoes or “ghillies” which are similar to a ballet type shoe. Once they learn the basics of soft shoe, they will advance to learning hard shoe as well. Hard shoes are similar to tap shoes.
Pricing: Your first class is free! If you decide to sign up, regular class pricing is $50/month for the 30 minute class and $70/month for the 1hr class.
